Yarrawa Park purchased this young sire as a yearling to introduce more Romeo and Abbey bloodlines. He is by McNamara Acrobat, by Romeo, who recently won the ACA Sire of the Year (the only year he was entered). Lance is from McNamara Trendy who is by Nabinabah Shogun out of the Elliotts Creek Cadet mare Marame.  He goes back to Ken Payne’s great mare Silhoette. 

Lance has won Novice and Open drafts.  He won the Vendors Futurity at Toowoomba Royal and has won numerous Champion working and led classes and tied for Open Horse in the Far North Coast Zone.  Lance has sired  many campdraft and challenge winners including Yarrawa Fantale (Lachlan Thompson), Roddick (Daniel Cheers), Class Act (Paul Keating), Yarrawa Rosette, Yarrawa Flower Power.  Yarrawa Runyon was the first winner of the Dalby Stock Horse Sale Incentive Draft and Gelding Incentive.


Lance progeny are also excelling at Polocrosse with Yarrawa Merimba being named in the QLD squad for the Polocrosse Nationals after her first season.  Yarrawa Rose has also being playing well with Keith & Christie Hunt. Yarrawa Chesney has recenlty been sold at Dalby ASH Sale 2013  to play in Western Australia.

Chestnut Australian Stock Horse Stallion

The 1st foal by Terry and Christine Hall’s Hazelwood Conman, foaled in December 2001. Conman is by Dogwood Comet who is by Elliotts Creek Cadet from the Rivoli Ray mare Dogwood Madam. Conman is out of the greatest Romeo mare Hazelwood Romance.

Conray’s Dam is Boonal Serenade By Romeo from the successful Rivoli Ray mare Cantana, dam of 6 draft winners including Boonal Malibou (19 drafts).

His dam Boonal Serenade was a brilliant mare, judged by many people as one of the best mares they ever saw. With limited drafting she was Novice Horse in 1995 of the Border Branch, but then was retired in October 1995 owing to her owner having to retire due to injury. Conray recently won the Warwick Stallion Campdraft 2015.  Conray was 1st in Round one of the Stallion Shootout at Landmark 2013 with a score of 92  and was  second overall in 2012.  Conray placed 7th in the Stallion Draft at Warwick 2013 and won the Open Campdraft at the Landmark Sale in Tamworth 2014.  Conray has also had success in the show ring winning numerous led and working ASH classes as well as champions.
